The Impact of Family Dynamics on Your Business

NOVEMBER CEO WORKSHOP, WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 13TH, 2013

Family dynamics often create difficulties in family businesses. For those without a family business, the same dynamics of anxiety that work in families are often at work in teams and other stakeholder groups.  Understanding and skillfully managing these dynamics is important for leaders in family businesses and for leaders who are running teams impacted by similar forces.

LUNCH:

All who are attending the morning workshop session are invited to join us for lunch.  Please let Lauren Owen or Michele Bosworth know if you are not able to attend.

Member arrive at 7:30am for breakfast and check-in.  Please RSVP to Michele Bosworth by October 30th, 2013 if you will be bringing employee guests.

The meeting will be held on the 4th floor.

Parking- The Goodwill parking lot is on corner of 27th and G street.  Parking is free in the lot.  The parking lot does not have signage. 

Enter into the Goodwill Building on the 3rd floor- by the fountain and round-about.  Once inside the building take the elevator to the 4th floor.

His work develops the core competencies of families in ways that allow them to not only resolve the challenges of today but stand on their own to meet the challenges of tomorrow. This work secures the human, social and cultural wellbeing of families that in turn forms the basis for family success over time. Before establishing The Wesley Group, Matt was a respected estate planning attorney with over twenty-two years of experience in both Seattle and the Bay Area. For the last ten years he has worked with highly successful families doing inter-generational planning. His clients have included those who have established or maintained successful family businesses, those who generated significant wealth in public companies and those with inherited wealth. Matt lives near Seattle, Washington with his wife, Marcia. They have two grown children, Ian and Kiera. Matt holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School and a Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary.
